Providing pet care around the clock
We are open from 8:15am until 6:30pm Monday to Friday and from 8:15am until 12:30pm on Saturday.
We operate by an appointment system but urgent cases will be seen between appointments although this may involve waiting until there is a gap in the appointments. Emergencies will always be seen as soon as possible.
Outside these hours we use an emergency service as do most practices in the Greater Manchester area. We took the decision that for the best interests of the many clients that we see during the day we would use an emergency service provider for the very few clients that need it during the night. We are open for longer during the day to compensate for this. The added advantage for those that require emergency treatment is that they are seen by a veterinary surgeon that is doing a shift rather than having worked all day and been asleep when called. They are able to concentrate better on the emergency. Pets seen as an emergency are referred back the following day for ongoing treatment.
