Animal Nursing Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Animal Nursing Assistant.

General nursing and reception duties on an equally shared rota over 5 days per week. The rota involves 2 evenings per week and 1 Saturday in 4. We are open 8am-6.30pm Mon-Fri and 8am-12.30pm Saturday.

We are closed Sundays and Bank Holidays. Out of hours is covered by VetsNow. We like our Nurses to work very closely with the veterinary surgeons to ensure continuity of care for the patients. The successful applicant will assist the qualified nurses in patient care and prep room / theatre duties. There will also be reception duties.

About Us

We are a single site, long established, purpose designed 100% small animal practice We have 2 theatres, 4 consulting rooms, imagining room, separate dog/cat isolation kennels and on site overnight nursing.

About the Team and Culture.

The Practice currently has 6 vets who have many years of experience between them and provide Excellent support. We also have 8 nurses and 3 receptionists.. We have been a VNTP for 15 years with 100% pass rate. We require an RVN who has a desire to work in a busy 100% small animal general practice.
